As the mother of the bride, I interviewed a few florists before choosing Emily with Rust & Thistle, and I’m so glad I did. What set her apart wasn’t just her creativity—it was her experience, her judgment, and the confidence she gave me throughout the planning process. Every time I talked with her, I came away feeling more confident, not more anxious. She understood the vision I was trying to create, made thoughtful recommendations, and then executed them flawlessly. Our wedding weekend brought unusually cold, rainy weather. We loved working with Emily for our wedding. Emily provided the floral for a friend’s wedding a few years ago and when it was finally time for me to get married I knew immediately I wanted her amazing floral creations for my big day. She did an absolutely amazing job putting together bouquets, corsages, center pieces, and arrangements for our altar. Every arrangement was absolutely perfect and I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
